The Ultimate Traditional Afternoon Tea Experience.

Step back in time on London’s oldest working Victorian Passenger Boat built in 1896.

The M.V. Henley is steeped in rich history and providence. This elegant vessel has been serving Afternoon Tea between Oxford and London for 125 years since she was built as a steam launch in the golden age of river travel.

Afternoon Tea has been an extremely popular English tradition for over 140 years. M.V. Henley is still serving Afternoon Tea in the traditional way on fine bone china with an amazing selection of cakes, pastries and sandwiches baked in local traditional kitchens, in the same way for over 100 years.

A selection of Fine Teas sourced from around the world all served in an authentic Victorian setting, on parts of The River Thames that has not changed for hundreds of years.

You will be greeted by our smartly dressed Captain and Crew before being escorted to your table by one of your hosts who will then take your tea choice order.

As the vessel gets ready to leave the pier, she will signal to depart on an authentic ships steam whistle. It is now time to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and picturesque back drop The Thames has to offer. The classical sounds of Jazz softly playing in the background as your freshly made Afternoon Tea arrives at your table.

This Historical Cruise will last for 2 and a half hours with unlimited pots of tea, a selection of sandwiches, cakes and a glass of Champagne.

A fully stocked bar will also be available during the cruise to purchase addition drinks if required.
